Nordic Walking...
Although we tend to poke fun at those "sticks" we see on the sidewalks or in the woods, we can easily separate the nordic walkers from the couch-poatoes. The energetic swinging moves stimulate the heart and blood circulation, strenghten the muscles and bones, and take away those excess kilos. The arm, shoulder and back muscles are especially toned.
Nordic walking is an effective but moderate outdoor sport, with very slight risk of injuries.
